Week 7 of the 2023 NFL season is here, and with it comes one of the lightest Sunday slates of the season. While there isn't a London matchup to pull a game off the Sunday main slate, there are a season-high six teams on bye in Week 7. The Bengals, Cowboys, Jets, Panthers, Texans and Titans will all have a week off, so that means just 13 games will be played in total. With the typical stand-alone games on Thursday, Sunday and Monday night, that means there will be 10 games left for the main slate in total. So, that's still plenty of simultaneous action for NFL fans to follow once those contests begin at 1 p.m. ET. As always, the NFL's main slate will be broadcast on CBS and Fox. The networks will split the 10 games right down the middle, and this week, it is CBS' turn to broadcast a doubleheader. That means that the network will get to show games inboth the 1 p.m. ET and 4:25 p.m. ET windows in each market while Fox will only be able to air one game per market. MORE: Thus, while the two sides are splitting the games up equally, it is CBS that is at an advantage this week. It certainly seems like CBS has the better matchups, too. They get to feature the Chiefs-Chargers game a rivalry that has produced plenty of close, offensive battles in recent years in the late window; and in the early window, the Bills, who are one of the best teams in the AFC, will have their matchup with the lowly Patriots featured. Fox's coverage will vary more widely by region. The Lions-Ravens game is probably the best of the network's bunch and, along with the Steelers-Rams game, will draw plenty of attention from around the country. So, there will be plenty of reasons to tune into Fox for its NFL Sunday Marvin Bagley III Jersey action. Below are the full NFL coverage maps for Week 7, plus a list of major TV markets and the CBS and Fox games that will be presented in each on Sunday. As such, the only Sunday game that will not be on the main slate will be the much anticipated clash between the Dolphins and Eagles on "Sunday Night Football." Miami sports the league's most explosive offense, so the Dolphins figure to be a tough matchup for the reigning NFC champion Eagles. "Monday Night Football" will feature a matchup of NFC teams that made the playoffs last year but are heading in opposite directions this year. The 49ers are coming off a lo s but are one of the most well-rounded teams in the NFL; meanwhile, the Vikings have struggled in 2023 and are without their top offensive weapon, Justin Jefferson, for this contest. San Francisco could be without some combination of Deebo Samuel, Christian McCaffrey and Trent Williams, however, so this could be a lower-scoring contest than expected.
